I have been working almost entirely within live recently as it allows me to do exactly what I want quickly and easily. I never really thought that pro tools le on it's own sounded that great to begin with and have tended to bring things to studios with higher end pro tools systems to mix down. I think it sounds pretty dull compared to pro tools le which I also use. I am having a similar issue with ableton.
